Not Receiving Voicemails Even Though Visual Voicemail Inbox Empty
If people receive a voicemail full message when trying to leave you a voicemail, and your visual voicemail then the issue could be that your inbox is still full but just isn't reflecting in the app. Please follow the steps below to check your voicemail and clear out messages to allow new ones to come in. 1. On your phone open the phone app and select the keypad icon. 2. You will call your voicemail by pressing *86 then be prompted to enter your password. This is normally the last 5 digits of your cell number, if that doesn't work, please let a member of IT know and they can reset it. 3. Once you enter your password you will now be able to access any unheard voicemails. Follow the directory to delete them and this will allow new messages to come in and should resume showing up in your visual voicemail app.

Apple iPhone - Tips and Tricks
Here are 5 iPhone features you may not know exist, along with steps to set them up. 1. Markup Markup is a powerful tool you might not even realize is there. It lets you edit screenshots and photos, add signatures to PDFs or other documents, insert text, and draw on images. To draw on photos: Open the photo and tap Edit, then the Markup button. It looks like a pencil inside a circle. Tap the Plus button to add Description, Text, Signature or Magnifier to zoom in. Once you’ve made your selection, tap Done, then tap Done again. To sign a PDF and other documents: Open the document and tap Edit, then the Markup button. Tap the Add button to add Text or a Signature. Tap Done twice. 2. Check if a surface is level Next time you’re hanging a frame, grab your iPhone instead of searching for a level. Here’s how it works: Open the pre-installed Measure app. Tap Level, then hold your iPhone against an object. Use it just as you would a normal level. 3. Flash notifications Don’t want to miss a notification, but you need to keep quiet? Instead of vibrations and sounds, you can set your iPhone’s LED flash to blink when your phone is locked and silenced. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Audio/Visual. Toggle on LED Flash for Alerts. You can then enable Flash on Silent if you want the LED to only flash when your iPhone is silenced. 4. Mute notifications for a conversation The constant pings from group messages can be a little much. If you’re done with the conversation in a group message or need a break, give yourself the gift of silence: Touch and hold a conversation in your list of Messages. Tap Hide Alerts. 5. Undo typing with a shake We all make mistakes when sending messages or entering text into notes or emails. You can highlight the incorrect text or hold down the delete button, but there’s an easier way. Shake to Undo Typing Shaking your phone will display an Undo Typing window with the option to Undo. Tap that and your words will disappear. Shake the phone again and select Redo Typing if you want them back. Need additional assistance? Click here to create a ticket now!

Apple iPhone - Common Issues
Most all iPhone users love their phones. However, there can be times where a new setting is automatically initiated that not everyone likes. The following are common iPhone issues that can be fixed very easily. Brightness keeps changing Apple’s Face ID does more than just unlock your phone. It also can tell when you’re paying attention to your phone. If you look away, your screen goes dim. Your alert volume also goes down. You may get annoyed by the fluctuating brightness, so Apple gives you the option to turn off the feature: Go to Settings > Accessibility > Face ID & Attention Turn off Attention Aware Features Volume goes up and down during calls When you’re on a call, your iPhone monitors the noise around you and tries to cut it down so the person you’re talking to can hear you better. It’s a neat feature, but it can sometimes make it hard for them to hear your voice. Check your microphone volume and if people are still having problems hearing you, you can turn off the noise cancellation feature. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Audio/Visual Switch off Phone Noise Cancellation Face ID will not unlock your phone Many factors can cause Face ID to malfunction, from a dirty lens to a bad angle. Here’s a fix: Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode Tap Reset Face ID Tap Set up Face ID and follow the onscreen instructions Notifications from muted conversations Group messages are a wonderful way to stay in touch with friends and family, but the constant notification pings can be too much. In case you didn’t know, you can silence individual conversations: Touch and hold a conversation in your list of Messages. Tap Hide Alerts You can also do this within the conversation itself by tapping the name(s) on the top of the screen and then switching on Hide Alerts That’s a helpful option, but you’ll still get notifications if someone mentions you in a conversation. You can turn this type of notification off, too. Now you’ll be completely at peace (from that conversation, at least): Go to Settings > Messages Scroll down to Mentions and switch off Notify Me You miss having the address bar at the top of Safari Moving the Address Bar in Safari in iOS 15 is simple once you know how. Open the Settings app Scroll down and tap Safari Scroll down to the Tabs section and locate the option to switch between the Tab Bar and a Single Tab Select Single Tab to move the Address Bar back to the top of the screen or select Tab Bar to move it back to the bottom if you change your mind Need additional assistance? Signs Your Phone Has Been Hacked
Pop-ups If you’re seeing a lot of unusual pop-up ads, your phone could have an adware infection. Steer clear from these pop-ups — don’t click or open them because it could make the problem worse. Unrecognized texts or calls Receiving communications from unrecognized numbers could indicate you’ve been the victim of a random data breach. Don’t answer calls from unrecognized numbers, unless you’re expecting them or can verify their authenticity. A hacked iPhone or Android phone can send text messages to all its contacts. If the phone of someone you know has been hacked, your number could be next. Check your call logs for any unusual activity, and if you see a number you don’t recognize, consider blocking the contact and reporting it as spam. High data usage If your online activities haven’t changed much but your data usage has shot up, it could be a sign of a phone hacker. A malicious app running in the background can cause unusually high data usage. Review your apps and delete anything suspicious. Battery drains quicker than usual Are you charging your phone more often? Does your battery seem to last a fraction of the time it used to? Your phone might simply be getting old, or you could have more than just a battery issue. Unwanted apps installed on your phone via hacking can take over your phone’s resources and drain your battery quickly. Hot phone Is your iPhone or Android getting hot and staying hot, even when you’re not using it? Like all devices, phones get hot with continued use, especially if you’re streaming or gaming for long periods of time. But if that’s not happening and your phone still feels unnaturally hot, something else might be causing it to overheat. Reduced performance Is your phone dropping calls? Are you not receiving texts or are texts you’ve sent not getting through? Is your phone freezing, crashing, or unexpectedly rebooting all the time? The culprit may be malware or unwanted background apps draining your phone’s processing power. Websites look strange A hacked iPhone or Android phone can be infected with malware that redirects you to sites other than those you want to visit. If websites look odd to you, they might have undergone a redesign recently, or it might mean your phone was hacked and you’re being sent to unsafe websites. Unexpected charges on your phone bill If your phone bill is higher than usual, you could be incurring unexpected charges from unwanted apps running on your phone and spiking your data use. Fleeceware apps stuff your bill with excess charges, and if someone has remote access to your phone, they might take advantage of your subscriptions and other services. If you have unwanted subscription fees on your phone bill, consider canceling those subscriptions, and delete infected apps immediately. Apps you don’t recognize Strange apps that you didn't install shouldn’t end up on your phone. If you notice an app on your phone that you didn’t put there, a phone hacker might be responsible. Of course, some unnecessary apps come pre-installed on new phones (these are called bloatware). So, if you don’t recognize an app, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s malicious.
