Moving a Folder or Docuement
To access sharepoint, click on the OneDrive icon located at the bottom right-hand corner of your screen then click View online. This will direct you to your personal OneDrive and is where you can see all sharepoint sites you have access to. Once on the desired site, go to the document library that contains the documents or folders you wish to move. Click on said library. Find the folder or document you wish to move. In this example, we will be moving the folder called: Test Folder. Select the folder/document by clicking on it OR selecting the circle next to the title of the folder/document. Near the middle of the highlighted area will be three dots. Click on this to open a menu. Within the menu is an option to Move to. Click ‘Move to’. A window will pop up on the right-hand side. Choose the Site where this folder/document will be saved to. Click on the Site. In this example, we will be moving the document under HB McClure Commercial. Next, you will choose the folder where this folder/document will be moved to. Select the folder by clicking on it. In this example, we will be moving Test Folder from Documents to the Archived Projects folder. Once the location has been chosen, you can begin to move the folder by clicking the ‘Move Here’ button at the bottom. **WARNING: Moving folders and documents may take some time to move. This is all dependent on the size of the file. You can watch the progress by clicking on the arrows spinning in a circle in the top right-hand side. This icon will disappear once the move is complete** To confirm the move of the folder or document or to access it after the move, you will go to the new location. Click on the folder that now contains your files/documents that you moved.

Syncing Files from Sharepoint
To access sharepoint, click on the OneDrive icon located at the bottom right-hand corner of your screen then click View online. This will direct you to your personal OneDrive and is where you can see all sharepoint sites you have access to. Choosing a Folder Once you have found the site, you can choose the document library you would like to search on the left-hand side. Click on it. Within the chosen document library, you can find specific folders you would like to sync. Find and click on the specific folder. Syncing a Folder Once the specific folder has been opened, click on the “Sync” button at the top. This will open a popup which asks for it to be opened with Open Microsoft OneDrive. Click on this. After several moments, the folder should start to sync. You can open the folder by navigating to File Explorer and on the left-hand side should be two blue buildings. Open that and the folder should live there. If you want to check on the syncing process, you can find a blue cloud in the bottom right-hand side of the computer near your time and date. If it is not there, click on the up arrow.
