To properly sign out of a Remote Desktop session:

1. Open the Start menu at the bottom left of the screen
2. Click on the “Person”/profile icon on the left side of the menu
3. Click “Sign Out”.

Please do not use the “X” on the top of the screen on the blue bar or the “Disconnect” option in the start menu.
